The primary responsibility of the PC Builds Technician, is to image new desktops & laptops & prepare the equipment for the end-user. Support will require in-depth knowledge of PC Hardware, Desktop Operating Systems options & settings, Laptop Operating Systems & settings, & network functionality. In addition, intermediate knowledge of end-user applications is also required. The technician is the principal owner of the service request as well as the customer’s overall satisfaction. In instances where a request cannot be resolved, appropriate escalation processes must be followed. • Provide prompt initial response to all assigned service requests, ensuring the standard performance requirement is met or exceeded. • Ensure the builds process is followed for every build.

  • • AS or BA/BS in Computer Science or related field and/or combination of experience • Required: Comp TIA A+ • Desired: ITIL v3 Foundations Certification • Desired: MTA, MCSE, CNE
